My idea was that they had the necessary expertise and experience to communicate to mainstream Australia the horrors of locking children up in detention And did they ever. Our group has now burgeoned to an unbelievable size with many other top PR, social media experts and producers flooding in to help, people giving their time like Bryan Brown who invited all his friends, Gregor Jordan who directed the video and commercial you’ll see at our launch on the 26th November, Darren Percival who conducted us and is helping to arrange the video along with Bernard Canning of Powerderfinger. We now have a YouTube channel, a website and an amazing video of some of Australian’s leading celebrities singing the song John and Bernard composed all to be launched on November 26th. Everyone has donated their time free. Proof positive that many, possibly a majority of Australians including our leading citizens from all political persuasions are no longer prepared to put with children being locked up in our name and will go out of the way to express their opposition..
