EXCLUSIVE: BLACK STARS COACHING HUNT DOWN TO GRANT, PONT AND JEMINEZ The contest is becoming keener and keener as the search for the substantive Black Stars coach nears completion. Three of the five shorlisted coaches have so far shown glimpses of taking over the vacant position left by Dr. James Kwasi Appiah after disappointing performance of the Black Stars at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Avram Grant, Michel Pont and Juan Ignacio Jeminez are the three front runners racing towards the vacant position. However, the committee tasked with the responsibility of selecting the coach have revealed that language fluency, additional staff cost and compensation in terms of the termination of the contract, shall be major ingredient to determine the next substantive coach of the Black Stars. Our investigations however revealed that Avram Grant and Michel Pont have good control of the English language as compared to Jeminez but the other two factors shall not be underestimated.
