He is now 22 yr old , still young lad....so he needs to play regularly ....no chance of doing that with Debuchy and seemingly Chambers in front of him....i remember the drubbing 8-2 against Man utd and Jenko was awful, sent off as well...since that game he lost Wengers trust....he is not a technically gifted player, not as quick as most of Arsenals full backs , he has not shown he can cut it now...in future, maybe , but we need now....from what i saw from Chambers last season he was outstanding...much better than Jenkinson, yet not even 19 years old....so once we get rid of Jenko hopefully we can sell Monreal as well...both are not Arsenal-quality GOOD MOVE for him? #ADMIN
