EXIT PLAN FOR DR. KWABENA ADJEI Lets face it, its time for Dr. Kwabena Adjei to bow out gracefully and join the Council of Elders. He bursted unto the scene when Obed Asamoah had become a self destructive engine. Kwabena Adjei brought the needed bite we needed and helped navigate the party to recapture power in 2008. Clearly, the Wayoo-Wayo that led to the 2010 Tamale Congress historic victory is gone. His weaknesses in managing intra-party disputes has become his bane. He no more serves as a stimulant to the grassroots. And certainly, there will be no Wayoo-Wayo celebration on Saturday. The delegates will not invest the future of the NDC into the hands of Dr. Kwabena Adjei. They are hooked on the message of the deputy Chairmen who are eyeing the top job. Its their time to retire their Boss. I only wish that the aides of Dr Kwabena Adjei will prepare him to accept an exit plan even before Saturday. Chairman can respectfully bow out of the race and save himself the injuries that his record will suffer on Saturday. The delegates shouldnt be made to pass a verdict on his excellent two terms. A vote for change may negatively be misintepreted as a verdict on the Wayo mans leadership. Which is not. So why dont you avoid it?? I will miss the Wayoo-Wayo. I will miss the philosophical statements and jabs. I will miss times at the table. I wish you well upcoming former Chairman.
