EXPANSIONS: Last week the new group did four gigs in the Northeast, covering about 1500 miles. It was really our first time out of the area and having consecutive nights. I am extremely happy about this configuration … the guys are creative every minute of the way, never falling into patterns or rote playing. The music is growing and solidifying. It’s a golden period putting a new band together, something I have of course done several times, not as many as some but enough to know that the first few years are special with new musicians. The new record “SAMSARA” has just been officially released and we are going out to the West Coast in a week for a string of gigs. Happy times!! - Lieb
