Since then, both dogs have sat in separate cages, surrounded by the noise and confusion of a busy shelter, rarely getting out to walk and do their business and maybe stretch their legs and even get a bit of ‘lovin. Ruby has tried so very hard to handle all of this but she’s so very scared. Even when she went for her behavioral eval, she couldn’t stop trembling. But guess what—this girl absolutely aced her eval earning 1’s and 2’s! But now that she’s caught the “shelter cold”, ACC has decided she’s got to go and they’ve put this sweetie on tomorrow’s euthanasia list. Take a look at her video, take a look at her pictures—did you ever see a prettier dog? ACC is not even sure she’s 1 yet—her medical indicates she’s either spayed or younger. Whatever her actual age, Ruby is at the perfect age to start learning all those grown up doggie things. She’s at the perfect age to become a valued family member for many years to come.
