***EXTREMELY URGENT LOVELY GIRL COCO HOUSTON IS IN DIRE NEED OF A BRAND NEW LOVING HOME EXTREMELY URGENT*** Big, Brown and Beautiful - that is Coco Houston! Two year old Coco Houston was returned to the Manhattan ACC for being too active - clearly her owner had no idea what Pittie mixes are like! A volunteer writes: If you havent been hugged by Coco Houston, you havent been hugged!! This chunky mama in her gorgeous, shining mahogany coat is a hugger.....I first met her as she was walking with staff, and she is so eye catching I couldnt resist meeting her. She gave me one look as I introduced myself, and then stood up to give me a hug. It was mutual love! Shes a stunning girl, weighing in at 77 pounds which only means there is more to love! Her tail wags, her eyes sparkle and her face smiles. Her sweet, friendly personality is evident in everything she does...Were told that she is housetrained , knows sit and lay down, likes to play and is active, and loves hugs. Having spent time with Coco Houston I can confirm all of this. Her leash manners are lovely, and although she pulls after dogs she sees on the street, its all in her excitement. Off leash in the backyard she loves squeaky toys, tennis balls, treats and more hugs - not necessarily in that order...Considering that I met her shortly after joining us, she is handling her new situation with grace and good humor. Shes an awesome girl who is waiting to make a new family very happy. Please share this gorgeous girl for a committed new home!
