EXTREMELY excited for Kaytelan Hoppes. Over the years doctors have mentioned to us getting her a power wheelchair. We have been reluctant. LOTS of reasons. We want her to maintain upper body strength etc.. We do realize if she has an arm fracture she HAS to depend on someone else. AND we have noticed at church camp, conference etc.. she cant keep up with her peers. NOT POSSIBLE! We have never had good luck with being able to depend on friends to help push her chair etc... for a function that lasts several days. (an evening event her friends are great) (I am not saying 13-15 yr old kids should have to take on that responsibility either) (trying not to offend anyone with my post SMH) BACK to the excitement part... We ordered her the following power smart assist drive several months ago. IT FINALLY CAME IN. Should be put on her chair tomorrow. If you get a chance, take a look.
