EYES is a bit concerned over the latest go rounds over a new fire station. There is the obvious concern that the Supervisors (who rely on data from those in charge of our Fire/Rescue Departments) are ignoring the requests from Chief Moody and Robert Black---that money be spent in Dahlgren (where most of the calls are and most of the businesses are located). EYES is also concerned that all this arguing and planning is going on when there are not enough Fire/Rescue personnel to man the trucks/stations we have currently----how do the Supervisors justify these things but wont give Chief Moody the billets he asked for in this years budget??? Take note of the time and place for this meeting----come out and see the workings of your County Government for yourself. July 15 at 6:00.
