Each One Help One One day me and the guys were driving down a semi country road headed to work on my honey-do list. As I was driving, I saw a fancy Mercedes parked on the side of the road, hood up, and blinkers on. I slowly pulled over and walked over to the older non brown gentleman to see if he needed some help. He stood visibly flustered as I asked what I could help him with. He told me he needed some gas for his car but he didnt have a gas can and only had $3 on him. I said thats fine and asked him to get into the car and wed drive down to the gas station. He then kept talking about his lack of money and stated he had money but just none with him. I simply smiled and kept driving. We then got to the gas station, bought a gas container, filled it up and headed back to his car. He continued to thank me as we emptied the container into his tank and placed the container in his trunk for future use. As we were finishing, he again offered me his $3, which I turned down. He then told me he owned a pawn shop and was a successful businessman and for me to come to his business so he could return the money and give me a great deal on any item. I smiled and just asked him to pass on a favor to someone else needing it. Then I said it; Each One Help One In Luke, Chapter 5, Jesus was in a town one day when He heard some yelling; Unclean..Unclean A man with leprosy then came up to Jesus (something he wasnt supposed to do) and asked Jesus Lord, If You are willing, You can make me clean Jesus feeling love for the man, then touched him and healed him. The man was thankful and excited. Jesus said to him Dont tell anybody about this. Yes, Each One Help One. Jesus has given us such a wonderful example and encouragement to love our neighbor and to help any and all those in need. In todays society we are sometimes leery of someone trying to help us for free. But we need to reach out to those in need. People needing clothing or food. Help them. People needing shelter or transportation. Help them. People simply needing love and care. Help them. And even people needing gas. Help them also. We are all Gods children and just as be continually blesses us through love, lets do the same with those around us. No, I never did go visit that pawn shop to cash in on moneys do but I have tried to help those around me. Yes, Each One Help One.
