Each Saturday the shelter workers at the Bedford Co Shelter bring - TopicsExpress

Each Saturday the shelter workers at the Bedford Co Shelter bring a lucky shelter up to the front office where they are front and center to greet visitors:-) This is so great for the dogs for so many reasons (not to mention it increases their chances of a potential adopter seeing them). It gives them a much needed change of scenery, some human contact, and some peace and quiet for a while. A shelter dog sits in their tiny indoor run 24/7 unless they get to get out for a walk once and a while. The lack of stimulation often causes even the calmest most patient dog go a little stir crazy. I know i would feel the same way in their situation. This morning one of the volunteer favorites and an all around wonderful boy Chase is waiting to greet you! He has had a nice walk/ run outside, a brushing and now he is all ready and hoping to go home today! He is on his best behavior too. Chase comes when called, sits on command, does not jump or mark, and loves to follow you around with his tail wagging in pure joy! Please come out and meet Chase! The shelter is open until 2pm! The number is 540-586-7690:-)
