Each morning this week Ive endured emails with a pompous, arrogant Brit. I initially wrote him under the assumption that he would share our passionate views over the integrity of a group of artists. What I discovered is he, instead, has been gearing up one estate to sue two other estates- All icons. There are people in the arts that operate from a place of passion. The money is nice, but is secondary. And then there are those that only care about the money. His emails have been viciously litigious, over something that really isnt his business .. On the bright side two families are now aware that another family feels as though theyve been slighted in some way.. And they very much intend to correct that. After a few snide emails, I unleashed the truth in a very passionate way on the man.. I decided not to open his response yesterday.. Last night I could see it starts with, I am sorry.... I suspect the rest of his email isnt going to support that apology.. Im going to read it now.. I dont expect my one passionately honest email to have derailed the snowball effect of is thinking.. Perhaps Ill be pleasantly surprised.. Ive been alive too long to expect that. When someone shows you who they are.. believe them. We shall see....
