Each of us has our own way of praying. When Jesus was asked - TopicsExpress

Each of us has our own way of praying. When Jesus was asked “teach us to pray” by the disciples, He told them to call “Abba”, God the Father. In other words call on God in Jesus’ name. In Jesus’ name we pray. Let Jesus be the go-between. As we pray for others, be bold in asking for miracles. Also, have confidence in God that the prayers will be heard and acted on as His will be done. God may not answer our prayers in the way we want. We have Jesus’ promise that they are heard and God will answer in his way. So we ask that God’s will be done. We are instructed to not only to ask God to fix the problems. But also, thank God for the wonderful things that happen in our lives. Set aside everyday a special time to talk to God, pray and give thanks. When you are having this communication with Our Father in Heaven, don’t forget to sit quietly and listen (meditate) for the answer. For you, when praying for others, the answer may just be a sense of peace, a knowing that He has heard. Please join us in our Prayer Chain. We can contact you by email, phone, or through Twitter.
