Each six months and then annually, we try to provide a little run - TopicsExpress

Each six months and then annually, we try to provide a little run down on the number of cats that we have photographed and what we know has happened to them. We can only really do this well once we know what had happened to every cat photographed in the previous 6 months. So an update with some statistics from the whole of 2014 will be along in a month or so once some cats that are currently impounded have left the pound. In the interim, you may be interested in this. In 2014 the photographers of RescueCat Project collectively photographed 763 cats and kittens in Blacktown Animal Holding Facility (380 in the first half of the year and 383 in the second half of the year). That is a lot of cats and a huge commitment on a weekly basis. I personally would like to say a huge thanks to the people that make this page happen - and that help a large number of cats and kittens to find homes and rescue - simply by executing their photographic talents. In 2014 those people have been: Melanie Whitton of Animal Eyes Photography; Lyndall Hord of Floppy Ears Photography; Kate Plaza of what kate did next; Ruby Knight who is also a volunteer in the cattery; and Andrew of RescueCat Project who has coordinated the efforts of the above. Many many thanks to you all - without you, RCP would not exist. Elizabeth.
