Each week, We would like to highlight Artists that standout, give back, and are recommended by our followers. This weeks highlighted Food Artist is the Dope man himself...Give it up for TIMBOOOOOO!!! Tim Sullivan, better known as Timbo, started his career in baking in the summer of 2011. His first time baking a cake, was definitely a challenge. Rubber texture, horrible taste, and not even worthy of being frosted or covered in fondant! Complete FAIL! Determined, Timbo left class everyday and attended his own classes. Watching YouTube videos and finding tutorials online for hours a day, about cake decorating, until he felt ready to give it another shot. Almost 3 years later and Timbo has been featured in 5 Cake Decorating and Culinary Magazines, as well as numerous cake decorating blogs and websites, and even showcased on the local news station in his area. He has won awards, and prizes from competing in different cake shows across the US, and contest across the world. Though young, with a lot of goals hed still like to reach, one of Timbos greatest accomplishments, in his eyes, is meeting and being asked to work with cake artists that hes looked up to ever since he started his career in baking. Whether in contest or collaboration projects....To be noticed and acknowledged by people you admire, and some you even used to watch on TV, is pretty DOPE to say the least.
