Each year, 13,500 kids are diagnosed with pediatric cancer. Of these, 20% will lose their battle. The remaining 80% will need regular follow-up care for the rest of their lives because they are at risk of late side effects that can occur many years later. These facts represent a battle that NO CHILD should ever have to face. Childhood cancer is a disease that affects the whole family. Cure It aims to provide comfort and support to the fighters and their families dealing with this horrible disease every day. Our end goal is to change the death rate of 20% to 0 through funding pediatric cancer research. In honor of National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Cure It will be celebrating and honoring our heroes, the fighters of pediatric cancer and their families. WE CAN. WE WILL. CURE IT.
