Each year as the holiday season approaches, hundreds of people throughout our region will spend their first season without a loved one. Losing someone is challenging enough at the best of times, but facing those special times of the year such as Christmas, Hannukah, and New Year’s – when family ties are highlighted – can be especially painful. When grief is fresh and familiar patterns are disrupted, many people need help. Eastern Health offers help in the form of special sessions to help you cope.
