Each year on All Saints Day I choose a Saint, or soon to be Saint,in which to dedicate the following year to. This year I have chosen the same Saint as last year, the Servant of God Dorothy Day. This is not the first time I have honoured the same Saint two years in a row, several years back I honoured St. Therese of the Child Jesus for 3 years in a row before honouring Saint Maximilian Kolbe & Saint Edith Stein. I honour a Saint for multiple years in a row when I feel I have not honoured them enough the past year, when I feel I still have more work to do in their name.
