Eagle Mountain is a fairly new community. We have a lot of potential for arts and music opportunities for our children. I know the power of participating in a musical ensemble for children. I want that for my children and other children in our community. I have a dream of a Childrens Choir with a high quality sound and musical understanding that learns to read music, sing in harmony and perform with other ensembles, eventually including a symphony orchestra. I have seen these groups in other communities and the children love these opportunities to gain confidence and musical ability. I have opened a Voice Class/Childrens Chorus for children ages 8-12. This will be a fun opportunity to learn proper singing technique, music theory, singing in harmony and proper performance etiquette. I would like to turn this into a high quality Childrens Choir. We will discuss tuition, curriculum, performance opportunity and parent involvement. I am so excited about this musical endeavor and cant wait to get started!
