Earl you may be able to help me out here (or maybe someone else) - it may have already been shown here, or on your Blog page Earl, but my head is spinning at the moment with all the information I am reading and putting on this page. WHEN did McMINN/SMITH&NEPHEW know/realize that the BHR was unsuitable for some recipients? - and - According to the FDA , some patients are more at risk of suffering adverse events from metal ions, including those: Who are female With bilateral implants With resurfacing systems with small femoral heads (44mm or smaller). WHEN did the FDA know this? I now know , that I was used as a Guinea Pig ......... IF McMINN/SMITH&NEPHEW failed to notify my Surgeon about these major issues - OR - if my Surgeon used the BHR on me knowing it would possibly fail (but I doubt very much this is the case), I am 1) female 2) small-boned and 5 tall 3) femoral head size used was 42mm. 4) am pretty sure that mine was a bilateral implant????
