Earlier I am doing laundry and I come around the corner to change loads and my pinky toe meets the door frame! I hear it pop and I know its broken. I have all of these bad words floating around in my head but the pain is so bad my tongue is temporarily paralyzed . My husband must have heard the strange gut wrenching moans coming from down the hallway and came to check on me. By now the paralysis of my tongue is easing a bit and manage to say toe broke and I think I fainted for a few seconds because the pain is now working its way to my brain! I crawl down the hallway and my husband is staring at me wondering what he should do to help. I find a nice comfortable spot on the floor to wait for the pain to subside and I was pretty sure my bladder had failed but it was just a cold sweat coming off my body! When my speech finally came back and I was finally able to tell my hubby what happened he gently reached down and helped me to my feet and held me there for a second to make sure that I could walk which I was pretty sure that the paralysis was now from the knee down. I have soaked it in Epsom salt and I now have ice on it and the temporary paralysis is now gone ! Pray for me and a full recovery of my pinky toe.
