Earlier I posted a positive response to my talk and now I am going to post the other side in fairness to the complexities of this work and this issue. Daily I struggle with something from my past thats not always visible, because I know there are people that were deeply hurt by my past misdeeds. It is through this experience of pain that I am driven to ensure that the youth in our community will ever have to bear the burden of a split second life changing decision. Share this with your youth so they will understand this isnt a 3 minute video that goes off, this is something i will be confronted with as long as I have breath. Youre worst deed does define you... Ill tell you the name of someone youve never met, youll never know, and never will, YET you will still define this person as evil that person being.... Adolf Hitler. As for Shaka, he to, is, was, and will always be a murderer. Pure and Simple. Because while he might relish his new beginnings and the new book his publishing, laughingly entitled Writing my wrongs... Shaka seems blissfully aware or just ignorant of the fact, that the man he Murdered ... will never get that same chance. He took that away from him, the moment he murdered him. Thats the one Wrong Shaka can NEVER right. He took away from him his life, his ability to change, his ability to love, his ability to see his children grow, and for those children to have a father, and his ability to grow old with his loving wife. None of those are possible for that murdered man. None. All of those things Shaka took, and not one of them can ever be undone. Ever.
