Earlier in the day, I had an enjoyable conversation with lively actor Poo Sahajak Boonthanakit, at his colourful Garage restaurant ,on All Seasons Place ( 2 Floor),studded with interesting paraphernalia and lots of film-stuff, not to forget a scrumptious range of burghers and lots of American stuff. Poo has done small,interesting roles in ,more than 40 films ,mostly international productions in Thailand. Hes excited that a Short Film Clueless which he made,with friends Byron Bishop and Peter Lloyd, has been selected for the Soho International Film Festival in N.York,where he lived for many years. The three of them plan to attend the screening on FRI 16 MAY,and he hopes that many Thai folks in the Big Apple will be there ( Village East Cinema, 7:00 pm). Hes excited by their time-slot ,because the feature film that follows their Short film,at the Festival, is a big Hollywood production Growing Up and other Lies ,starring Adam Brody ! Poo hopes that this will be the first of many interesting English-language Thai films that the three film-artistes will produce, for the international market, through their new company Keynok Productions.
