Earlier in the day, we rescued Chanel. Chanel was wrapped in the pink blanket shown in the pics and tossed on someones front porch. They heard her crying and went to investigate. They discovered this 8 week old little girl. Chanels skin was very inflamed and she was is pain, so she was taken to the vet. She is under our care for her skin condition, and will be released into foster care later this week if all goes as planned. Chanel was weak and exhausted. She is VERY thin and was dehydrated. Chanel is another helpless pup who wouldve likely frozen to death if her rescuers hadnt been alerted to her presence. Its been a busy day at the SPCA of East Texas. Prayers are appreciated for Chanel! Well have her looking fabulous like her namesake in no time! Keep those fur babies warm tonight!
