Earlier in the year I started to look at the possibility of becoming a Tree Warden Sadly there is nothing in my area that offers me the possibility. So then I thought - Well theres nothing to stop me working on my own .... So I started to log (pun intended!) tree damage and report it. Like this one opposite where I live .... Hit by vans and car doors - and now snapped off at the trunk :( Come the New Year - if the Council still seem as uninterested as they currently are - some of us intend to plant a new tree and care for it ourselves. One small step I guess to creating our own Ancient and Sacred tree :)
