Earlier in the year, the McCallum Theatre was fortunate to receive a major grant from The Irvine Foundation to create The Crisalida Community Arts Project, which brings Master Storyteller David Gonzalez to the East Valley to facilitate story creation and sharing through the arts. The Project, which will take place over a two-year period began in earnest last week with Dr. Gonzalezs arrival in the Valley. Hes already met with several of the leaders of some of the East Valleys most influential and productive arts and social service organizations. Stay tuned to hear more about his adventures and the projects that will emerge through Crisalida. In the meantime, here is the first of four blog posts Dr. Gonzalez has shared.
