Earlier this month, Joel Massey, 14, went into sudden cardiac arrest while playing football. Thankfully for Joel, his friends were able to perform CPR after remembering what they had learned in a lesson in school the year before. Thankfully, on this occasion, Joel’s friends were able to be the difference between life and death, but had they not been taught first aid at school, the outcome may have been very different. Here at SJA we believe no one should die from a lack of first aid training. Please share if you think first aid lessons should be made more available in schools.
