Earlier this week, Catholic Charities’ After School & Summer Youth Program kicked off its spring break activites with a trip to the San Antonio Children’s Museum. A total of 21 students went on the field trip and had a great time while learning new things and experiencing all the Children’s Museum has to offer. They shopped for groceries at the HEB Kids’ Market and even learned how to fly a plane! The theme for the week is health & wellness. The children have been learning about nutrition and spending time outdoors. From playing flag football and doing yoga to making arts & crafts, the children have been having a blast. Catholic Charities is grateful for the UTSA and D.O.O.R volunteers who generously dedicated their time this week to ensure our kiddos had a great spring break.
