Earlier this week we had a question on Facebook about a telephone bill dispute. Did you know there is a national organisation that can help you with telephone or internet complaints and disputes? It is called the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman. The Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman provide a free dispute resolution service for small business and residential customers who have a complaint about their telephone or internet service in Australia. If you are currently in dispute with your provider and need advice visit their website: tio.au/about-us or call them on this free number: 1800 062 058 You can also find out about the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman in person as they attend a range of community events to raise awareness about the work.
