Earlier today, I attended my friends cookout. When I got there I introduced myself to the first two people I saw. After I told one of the men I was going to attend UMass Amherst, he asked about my intended major and gave me the advice to do what you like to do because it wouldnt feel like a job. I told him I was not attending college for theater (what I love to do), but I told him about the motivational skits I worked on as a side project and he immediately stood up to offer me a gig to create and perform a skit at a major event he was holding in the future. Its amazing what opportunities will come your way when you keep your passion alive. Whether youre talking, thinking, and or taking action, never lose hold of your goals in life. Also you never know what a hi will bring!
