Earlier today, in my defiant posture. Call me crazy, but it does not compute to be getting IV antibiotics, then jackass around like its a hangnail. Adding to that my head and chest cold and difficulty expelling {i cant write the word}, and i am not a pretty sight. I dont much like my appearance on camera. Looking, well ... sickly. Smoochie has apparently forgiven me my selfish choice to stay in today {thank you :) }. What a day it was, or wasnt! Up by the crack of noon, then I was off for some balsamic [Lazok] vinegar and a CVS run for ... Back in bed, working on Smoochies postcard for his Fall shows. Whats missing ... oh yeah, Madee Kaba and John Ross both said yes to performing at Puffs Birthday Party on Aug. 24th. I wonder if Malika Zlatkin could be convinced? Ive never seen her perform, but rumor has it shes quite good. This is going to be a very different type of Dutch brunch than those Ive done at 120 Bay Café {cargo} previously. Madee and John are both rappers for one, and Im damn curious to see them in action. Marcus & Tanya could do three or four songs, but this will depend on a keyboard and someone to tickle. Puff is worth it, for he brings something to the job whose benefits cannot be underestimated: JOY!
