Earlier today, we featured The Florida Bars soon-to-be-unveiled Practice Resource Institute -- which combines parts of the Bar’s former Law Office Management Assistance Service and Lawyers Helping Lawyers program, and offers an expanded list of ways to improve office operations and help improve technology use within your practice. The Practice Management Advisors (PMAs) of The Florida Bar’s Law Office Management Assistance Service (LOMAS) identify and review the necessary resources for starting a law practice and how to find these resources. LOMAS PMAs cover step-by-step instructions and discuss practical tips for starting up the practice, preparing a business plan, and discuss the management skills necessary to manage a successful law practice.
