Earlier today while driving I spotted the signs of a traffic accident a couple of hundred yards ahead. Not wanting to be that guy I slowed down and hit my turn signal so I could merge left and go around the firetrucks. Almost immediately a car slowed to a stop to let me merge in front of them. After I got over I raised my hand to wave behind me and at the same time I said out loud, Thank You. I did this knowing that there was no way the driver of the other car would know that I said it. It is something I typically do. Rikki says she does the same thing. I know that it is common for people to vocalize their displeasure for other drivers even when they will not hear it. My question for you is do you verbally express your gratitude to other drivers.
