Early General Election is on the PAP Card. In my humble prediction; recession may rears its head in Singapore somewhere near the end of 2014 to early 2015. This forms a window of opportunity for the PAP to call snap General Election as the situation is favourable and the high possibility of gaining the support of the fence sitters and the pioneer generation who worries that an incompetent government may bring more hardship to the population. In a recessionary situation, the intakes of foreign workers will be reduced, the inflation level would be stagnant and the cost of living will temporarily tapering off, thus leaving Singaporeans with two less things to grumble about. The main focus among the population would be job security and continuous income for their families. That is when the PAP will strike hard by insisting that only PAP able to guarantee jobs availability and stability for the nation. So, for an early General Election to take place; it would indeed be possible.
