According to John 10:10, "The enemy cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." The enemy is relentless in his attempts to undermine the plans and purposes of God. He is skillful at even disguising himself in order to remain undetected. As believers, we need not be afraid, but be aware and empowered with the knowledge that we have the ability to identify the works of the enemy. God has given us His power to tread on serpents, scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy so that according to Luke 10:19, "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and Nothing shall by any means hurt you." The time has come when God has stirred up the hearts of all believers to rise up and take their rightful places as His official representatives in the earthly realm. Your role is to activate and enforce the authority God has given us. You are empowered and you should no longer be satisfied with standing on the sidelines or accepting anything from the enemy.
