Early September we posted about a momma dog, (Nellie) and how she was found under a shed with her three puppies in Buhl Idaho by a wonderful family, (the Stills family). After Nellie was taken in to see the doc, Dr Tillquist at Snake River Vet Hospital in Jerome, he said it was very apparent to him that she is an older gal that has had many litters of puppies in her life time and not much TLC. At first Nellie wasnt sure if she could trust the people that wanted to help her, (a very protective momma) but as time goes on she is learning. Now she is getting good food, a warm bed.... She has had her vaccinations and she wont need to worry about having anymore puppies. Nellie needs some dental work done and as you can see by the picture, her mouth is a mess. We will continue to work with Nellie so she too will have a chance for a better life......
