Early Times Report JAMMU, July 6: Although Jammuities have smelt something fishy in Omar Abdullahs love for them; it was utter failure on the party of BJP leadership that Chief Minister has projected himself as well- wisher of Jammu people. It is another question whether people of Jammu would reciprocate Omar Abdullahs love for them or not but what matter is concerned is failure on the part of BJP leadership to effectively put demands before Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. During a function which was held to inaugurate Katra rail link, organisers had first of all invited Union Minister, Dr Jatinder Singh for address. Dr Jatinder Singh, who is Lok Sabha member from Udhampur-Doda seat, failed to avail the opportunity to project himself as leader of Jammu. Instead of addressing the issues concerning Jammu region, he rather concentrate on praising Narendra Modi. During his address Dr Jatinder Singh all and all praised Narendra Modi and forget that elections of the J&K Assembly would be held very soon and he has to take up some issues. Instead of using that platform to highlight issues of Jammu people and projecting himself as a visionary and articulated leader of Jammu region, he tried to project himself as Param Bhakat of Modi. It is another question whether Dr Singh was briefed about issues related to Jammu region by the state BJP leaders or he deliberately used that platform to show his loyalty towards Modi rather than projecting demands of his people. Chief Minister, who was anxiously watching Dr Jatinder Singh speech, utilized BJPs failure and raised the issues which were very important.
