Early afternoon Update... The Pope County Sheriff’s Office has been informed that the Arkansas Game & Fish will be searching the water for Michael Shane Caldwell, missing out of Pope County on Thursday and Friday. Sheriffs authorities say due to the weather conditions and the fact that the Pope County OEM team is a volunteer agency, Pope County OEM will not be able to be on the water searching today. There is a group of team members that will be on the water Saturday with side scan and an underwater robot. Authorities are also looking into the possibility of using a water cadaver dog from out of state. We have not confirmed the availability of the dog at this time.
