Early announcement for all my Facebook friends! I will be announcing this week the start of the Walter Dunson Football Academy. The focus of this Academy will be to work with QBs, Wide Receivers, Running Backs, Defensive Backs and Kick Returners (skill players), I along with other former NFL players and coaches will be the instructors. I will provide private and group instruction. I will pour more than 20 years of knowledge learned, even at the highest level as a former NFL player into each player and teach him how to become a smarter and athletically better football player. This program will be for kids ages 9-18. Im also announcing, Total Athlete. This program will focus on everything needed for an athlete to succeed throughout middle/high school with the hopes of obtaining a college scholarship. This is a very intensive program for middle/high school age student-athletes. This program will focus on the academic, social development, private/group instruction, becoming recruitable and athletic skills of the student-athlete. My knowledge as a college Athletic Director and Academic Compliance Officer for student-athletes has taught me, that whats best is to map out a plan early to keep student-athletes on track to graduate high school which helps to prepare them for college life and helps them to qualify for NCAA, NJCAA, NAIA, by providing SAT/ACT prep classes and tutors.
