Early morning, His Holiness the Gyalwang Drukpa participated in the Lama Chodpa (Offering to the Gurus) Drubpa conducted by monks from Bhutan. This was followed by an empowerment presided by His Holiness. His Eminence Kunga Rinpoche gave a teaching on "Spirituality and Nature, the Interdependent Connection), Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo taught about "Developing Compassion as a Path to Ultimate Happiness", and Khenpo Jangchub Chodar, Deputy Chairperson of the 5th ADC, gave a teaching on "History of Drukpa Lineage in the Himalayan region". Hemis was packed with tens of thousands of devotees throughout the entire day. In the evening, when the nuns of Druk Gawa Khilwa Nunnery performed the epic story of "Drowa Zangmo", there was not enough space in Hemis to accommodate the crowds. The nuns gave a spectacular performance, together with 3 dances taught by His Holiness. They danced in the three of the latest numbers written by His Holiness. Despite heavy rains, everyone enjoyed a wonderful day with Dharma teachings, cultural performances and blessings.
