Early on in my SCAdian experience, I was at an event, and His Highness Logan was King... I was knee deep in the formality of it all, learning etiquette and tradition, and struggling not to make a fool of myself. I had some question or other that I thought for sure, only the King would know... so, I waited patiently until His Grace wasnt involved in some conversation, or wasnt doing some formal thing or another... I really had no clue about anything that was going on... I eventually saw my window and pounced... His Highness, (His Majesty at the time), saw that I had a question for him, and bid me to follow him as he had some important errand to attend to, and, I followed, loyal subject at his heels... I started with the Your Majesty this, and that... leading up to my (at the time) all important question... I dont recall... but probably had something to do with his opinion on the path to Knighthood, or chivalry, or something... that I was sure would lead to some long life changing response that would change me as a person... I was finishing up as Logan reached behind a table, and he stood back up, and said... Yes. You wanna cold one? and he handed me a Miller Lite.
