Early reading... 1 Peter 2:15 - For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people. There is nothing we can SAY to silence ignorance or as the scripture says foolish people. People say and do the negative things they do for all sorts of reasons. They may be Reasons they themselves may not fully understand if they are not diligently exploring their true motives and if they are not receiving direction from God through reading and prayer. We cant let our Actions be dictated by them or well be playing into the devils hands. When we are obsessed with doing the wrong thing we may not even know what is behind it. With each individual I suppose there is no way to know for sure but I do know that in: John 10:10 it says The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. So Im going to assume they are being used to steal, kill and destroy. Personally Im gonna stay out of the way lol :) None of what they say or do really matters because if we are truly seeking the kingdom of God FIRST then NO WEAPON formed will be successful against us. The battle is NOT ours. See, when we try to fight THAT battle the task God has for us does not get done. ;) Jeremiah 29:11-13 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. I dont know about anyone else but again that is not my battle but Im going to continue to pray for direction, read for instruction and work as diligently as I can to try to help make this place we live a little better than I found it for the young people who come after us who dont have the benefit of growing up with all the great mentors and community leaders that we did. Its all I can do because the rest is up to Him :) Dont be distracted from your task by anyone or anything. Matthew 16:23 But he turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a hindrance to me. For you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of man.” Do the right thing, and dont be distracted... Paying attention to the devil is the only real power that he has James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Its just that easy :) Peace and Blessings, have a great day
