Early start this morning - with a 13km odd paddle on the surf skis from Sheiks Beach out to Atlantis on teh Palm and back, with Johan Venter and Christo Brits, they are still a bit quicker than this old man. I still need to get used to the larger swels further out at sea, but remarkably, still have not fallen out. Then coffee and rooibos tea on the beach, chatted, really lekker. Maybe go watch the Dubai International Parachuting Championships later. 22 000 parachute jumps in 2 weeks, that is hectic. 3 more sleeps and Chloe and Reece are here. Then looking forward to Christmas with Therese Mowatt Schmidt and her mom, Aunty Pat who I have not seen for 30 odd years. Will miss not having Colin here.
