Early start today, on site 0700 at one of our business customers who reported slow internet access overnight. Looks like they had started to send mail shots via their normal email server rather than a specialist bulk email service. This is risk for two reasons: it can cause significant speed issues (as in this case) and can lead to your outbound server being blacklisted for spamming. ellem runs a bulk outbound email service that deals with both of these issues and is significantly cheaper to use than the likes of Mailchimp or Constant contact. Please get in contact with us if your business is it needs to send bulk emails (even as few as 500 recipient can cause issues).
