Early this morning I decided the best way to work on the 8 of canvases for a new piece for CCHMC was to place them on the deck and apply the paint loosely and with reckless abandon. On my knees, moving back and forth, I did not realize that I was actually under the table. When I went to stand up, I hit my head on the table, careened recklessly into the canvases and in an effort to save them, vaulted over them and landed ribs down on the step to the porch. The only remnant of this adventure is a heel print on the middle canvas. I kinda like it. Edvard Munch said The colors live a remarkable life of their own after they have been applied to the canvas. Mine did this morning. Suffering for my art.... Have a great day, friends!
