Early this morning Miss Angel and I spent time preparing an incredible pot of beef barely soup and then set it in the slow cooker to simmer. Levi and her mom Dani came to visit and we spent almost 6 hours in the #HugginzStudio sewing and knitting up a storm. Dani picked out materials for the next set of #Hugginz blankets to be sewn while Angel, Levi and I sewed. ♡ A few months ago Angel invited Levi and her brother Ezra to sew their own Hugginz blankets. The kids started their blankets in September but have been too busy to return until today. Angel was very determined that the kids should have their own Hugginz blankets for comfort because their dad has to be away from home alot. Their dad, Dr.Chris, has been Angels pediatrician since she was just 2 years old. Angel always worries about him being away from his kids when hes on-call and taking care of sick kids at the hospital. Dr.Chris has given us countless hours of his time while hes tended to Angels medical care over the years. ♡ Levi and Angel finished sewing the blankets today and they were taken home. Angel has asked for Dr. Chris to put his love into the blankets so that his kids can smell him and feel his love when hes away from home. ♡♡♡ Levi has recently taken up knitting and left with a small loom so she can knit a few baby hats for Hugginz premies. Were booking a girls knitting date for the 4 of us to watch movies, eat popcorn and knit hats and scarves for sick kids.♡♡♡ Days like today remind us that we are so very very blessed. - Nurse Mom
