Here are the unofficial totals from the municipal elections: MAYOR Al Arreola 1,029 Mario Bosquez 215 Robert Garza 1,043 Marcos Paco Guajardo 56 Rick Roman 107 Based on these totals, Arreola and Garza should be involved in a runoff election as neither man failed to garner at least 50 percent of the total vote plus one. COUNCILPERSON AT-LARGE, PLACE C Alfredo Fred Contreras 1,246 Mario Herrera 560 Raul C. Ojeda 509 Based on these totals, Contreras has been re-elected to the city council. COUNCILPERSON, DISTRICT 1 Rene Reno Luna 673 Luna, the incumbent, was unopposed and has been re-elected to the city council. COUNCILPERSON, DISTRICT II Rey Dominguez 103 Fred Knoll Jr. 539 John A. Sheedy IV 467 Based on these totals, Knoll and Sheedy should be involved in a runoff election as neither man failed to garner at least 50 percent of the total vote plus one. Totals are unofficial until canvassed by the city council.
