Earning money by lottery is completely haram but it is a great sorrow that although most of the people they claim as pious muslim but dont try to understand the evil consequence of lottery.people think that it is a golden chance to become a millionire but there is a clear and straight referance in the holy quran about it.gaining money by lottery is like stealing from a large number of people through an organised institution in a subtle way.
