Earnings for Hasbro (HAS) Projected to Rise Optimism surrounds Hasbro HAS -1.96%, as it gets ready to report its second quarter results on Monday, July 22, 2013. Analysts are expecting the company to book a profit of 35 cents a share, up from 33 cents a year ago. The consensus estimate has gone up, from 31 cents, over the past three months. Analysts are projecting earnings of $2.96 per share for the fiscal year. Analysts project revenue to fall 2% year-over-year to $794.7 million for the quarter, after being $811.5 million a year ago. For the year, revenue is expected to come in at $4.12 billion. Hasbro’s three-quarter streak of earnings was snapped by last quarter’s loss. Revenue has dropped for the past three quarters. The year-over-year drop in revenue was 18% in the first quarter. Prior to that, revenue fell 3% in the fourth quarter and 2% in the third quarter year-over-year.
