Earth shakes (temblors) are not unusual in Nicaragua but we experienced a couple more last night that have put the residents into concern. In 1972, 6000 people were killed, 20,000 injured and 250,00 left homeless. Since Thursday, we have experienced a 6.1, 6.2, 5.1 & 4.2. Most are hitting under Lake Managua. If I understand correctly, this was where the 1972 quake hit. People living in Managua were encouraged to sleep outside last night. The country remains on RED alert.
